@luxire Are you still making shoes? Do you have any pictures of shoes you've made that you can share for some inspiration and examples of recent work?
Are there specific last shapes you're working from that can be used for guidance?

Thank you!

Hi guys,

Long time Luxire lurker and occasional customer here. I’ve been thinking about having a jacket made and would like to base it on one made for me by a local tailor. I’m hoping you can provide some advice regarding fit improvements over the original. Please see the attached photos.

I personally think the arm openings are too low and likely too large, otherwise the fit across the shoulders isn’t too bad.

The new jacket would be a 2 button notch lapel version of this in a pale linen.

I’m eager to hear your input!

I would recommend you take some higher quality photos, the blurriness + the dark jacket means that detail is difficult to make out

Yes, we are indeed making shoes.

We do have a new GYW setup going through final testing right now.

Will be sharing some latest images, leather and last info shortly.

Navy.

Not the easiest pants color to wear, but I think it will go well with my brown gun check flannel sport coat.

My only two pair of navy odd trousers are from Luxire. One is a summer cotton and the other is a heavyweight Fresco. I wear them quite a bit and think navy works in a lot of my wardrobe.

I think navy works well when not wearing a sport coat with a white, off white, gingham, or plaid shirt, if the pants have texture, like a fresco or covert, or are casual chinos.

Otherwise they go well enough with brown, tan, oatmeal, or cream sport coats. I only have a brown one atm.

The challenge is making sure they dont look like lost suit pants.

This is just my opinion and I'm curious if anyone else has other thoughts.

Well my sample trousers have finally cleared customs after 2 weeks, hopefully arrive with Luxire soon.

I certainly won't be using the post in future, I suspect DHL is the way to go.
