    RE Popover measurements:

If you wear your shirts quite slim, you would need to add a bit to the chest/waist/bottom.

    Otherwise not - I don't anyway:

Interesting... so the length is a bit shorter, as is the bottom measurement? Is that if you want to wear them untucked?

Thanks for answering, looks a bit more relaxed and lighter than the one I have (or thats just photography for you) but I have a shirt in that fabric already and agree its very good. Got the dark purple on order as well.

Important to note first off that my popovers all have a square, polo shirt style, hem with splits. Dress shirts obviously have a normal dress shirt hem.

I am 6 foot. I like my dress shirts pretty long since I never ever untuck them. Since they are longer, the bottom measurement is greater since they around pretty much the widest part of my body ie my butt.

29.25 is the perfect length for me to be able to wear something tucked and untucked.

I could go shorter for something I'd never tuck in.

When requesting that type of hem, do you also increase the waist measurement a bit? I didn't on the one square-bottomed shirt I've had made, and I kind of wish I had. Imo, a fitted waist with a square bottom looks a little strange.

Same, except I got a shirt.

Now if Luxire could only get the greenish blue university stripe back in stock....

@Luxire any updates on the Indigo Heavy Sashiko Jacket deal?
I wanted to replicate a jacket and was told on Feb 11, that you're working on the shipping label - but I assume the cloth is still missing?

Posting here, because it might prevent mails from the other deal-guys :)

Cloth in production. Expected to arrive early next month.

Am told that the actual weaving takes only a few hours but there are lot of pre and post processing exercises that take time and have many external dependencies.

Question for those who have ordered linen shirts. I've had a lot of success with Turner's hidden button down collars (6300 and 7563) on oxford fabrics. I just ordered several linen shirts and wasn't sure if it would be necessary to change the fusing/lining options if I plan on wearing the collars without a tie (90% of the time). I'm worried that linen's lightness in weight requires some additional reinforcement. Any suggestions and experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any discount codes for SF members?

They occasionally offer specific fabric ranges up on special, but there's no SF specific codes (at least that I've ever seen).

For shirts not to be worn w/ a tie (and OCBDs), I like collars with lightly lined collar bands (unfused) and unlined collars. I have a few shirts made this way and they're ideal for warm weather imo. When ironed, they're fine for non-CBD wear w/ a tie. But I like a fairly soft look.

Looking for a new (plain) navy dress shirt. With an luxirous feel. I was thinking about the Warzone navy twill. How is this fabric? Any other recommendations are also appreciated.
