I have the pale pink classic oxford and it's great, but on my last order I got some swatches, and I must have not been paying attention when I submitted my order because I asked for another swatch of the same fabric, and the swatch I got is not the same fabric as my shirt. I don't know if they gave me the wrong swatch or switched out the fabric from the previous one they used to stock. My shirt has a nice textured finish, like most of the other classic oxford fabrics, but the new swatch I got is smoother and has more sheen to it, almost like a royal oxford.

I came up with this handy formula to calculate delivery time:

While I agree that Luxire could update us more frequently on our delayed orders, I'm also very certain of this fact: In the end Luxire always delivers.

There's a saying in German "Gut Ding will Weile haben"

Loosely translated to: Neither Rome was built in a day nor were Neapolitan trousers sewn.

    ^ Nice.

My math is not nearly on par. I assume y is just years?

Purely a huntch, but I suspect they may have "batched" your orders, as to minimize shipping costs on their end. I remember this being talked about on here in the past. Do some searching on here and you may find some discussion.

it's a limit sequence to avoid divison by zero, though independent of what you put inside the brackets it's still going to be multiplied by g=0.

so yeah. math. not even once.

Good thought! That wouldn't bother me at all. As a matter of fact I suggested the same via E-mail to Luxire at 12:36 AM Eastern time on July 23rd:

"Someone told me that Luxire will ship all orders above $500 as duty prepaid. Is it possible to go ahead and combine the below orders into one shipment and take advantage of this policy?"

To which I received the following reply at 9:22 AM Eastern Time on July 23rd:

"Sending them separate will not attract duties as in the US, the threshold is $200. The orders are in progress. The June orders should be shipped this week."

Again, hopefully the situation will resolve itself in short order.

Just received my shirts from Luxire. Very happy with how everything came out. They replicated two of my existing shirts with some tweaks provided by myself. Let me know what you think!

I don't know for sure, but they look a bit on the slim side to me. Especially the white one. Like they wouldn't be comfortable/would buckle while sitting down. Not sure if you put darts in or not. That is just my taste in fit. If that is how you want your shirts, though, then :slayer: If you plan to wear no. 1 with a shirt and tie, then it's pretty hard to tell how the shoulders and chest fit until you do up the top button. Looks ok, though.

^ I also think the armhole might be off or the shoulder pitch/slope may be off. Very slight but could be improved.

Not sure why but I am surprised that, that particular collars works so well on the 2nd shirt style.

    Admirable talent!

Another 5 variables can be added:
    1. Complexity of order notes. Biggest cause for very long delays.
    2. Customs clearance time.
    3. Non-standard trims requested
    4. A variable of "f" for email communication
    5. Number of order details change requests over email
    -------------------------------
Let us make it so so complex that by the time the buyer figures out the delivery time, the packet should arrive at the door.
