Man, this thread has been on fire the past week or so.
Yeah, thrash away. That was just stupid and juvenile. If he did have a legit issue with the shirt, there goes that.
Honestly I messed up. However I don't appreciate being told what is and isn't and issue on my shirt, when I obviously have pictorial evidence of said issues. It's pretty condescending of you to tell me that I am just making things up and that it's not an issue since no one can see it. It's pretty funny how you call me juvenile because you can't admit you were wrong about my shirt having nothing wrong with it. Yes I slipped my mouth and I regret it, we all make mistakes and do wrong things, but according to you only when you can see them.
I have to apologize if someone has already written it:
Anyone already "copied" a Kent Wang Polo, especially the collar (Order-Nr.?)
Order shipped today for two pairs of linen pants. I think Luxire seems to be back on track with shipping times, this one was a lot faster than my last couple orders. Ordered June 4, shipped June 17, scheduled to arrive June 19.
Nice to know, I have placed an order on june 9th...
Received a beautifully made pair of Cerruti Flannel slacks today! Adjustments from previous order made perfectly and all special requests met. Lovely cloth too.
My experience may be different than others, but I actually find Luxires standard english spread to be quite nice for both ties and unbuttoned - not an extreme cut-away, frames my neck/face well w/o a tie.
Now accepeting orders for items made using Harrison of Edinburgh fabrics.
How it would work, for now:
You can select the fabrics on their site. Send us an email with the name on the left (Mersolair, Havana, Sunbeam, Overcoating, Millionaire, Tartans etc) and the fabric number of the chosen cloth. We will then give you the price and let you know how to order.
Gradually, we will add their collection on our site.
Wow. That is great news.
Does anyone have any experience with Luxire's 40's and 50's fabric? I want to copy a shirt and the fabric I want only comes in those numbers. I am looking at the light and dark grey end on end, and I am just worried about how it will feel.
If I have specs from a Proper Cloth order would that translate over well to a Luxire shirt?
Luxire has a lot of great oxford fabrics I wouldn't mind trying out.
Awesome! Do you know if there's any way to get swatches for these? I emailed them last week but haven't gotten a response yet.
I just did that a week ago. Took my PC measurements and put them in the Luxire where appropriate. The only difference was that Luxire has an armhole measurement, PC does not. So I just measured my PC shirt. I'll post when I get my oxford and see how it fits.
I'll send them a query too.
