It might be best to assume that a customer is asking things with the best of intentions, and only take offence when it is beyond reasonable doubt that something is meant to be offensive. Even then I would reply as if no offence was meant, in order to diffuse the situation and show the world that you can handle difficult queries. This is how I talk to clients, but also to everyone else in life. Losing one's temper is never beneficial, not for me, and certainly not for the client.

For what it's worth, it was Clapeyron's praise and his many pictures of Luxire trousers that convinced me to order trousers myself. I understand we can be a difficult bunch, being obsessed with details, but in the year I've spent on this forum I've come to understand that 99.9% of the members mean well. Germans and other northern Europeans, such as the Dutch, can be a little direct, but it is merely a part of our culture, and should not be seen as rudeness.

EDIT: Spoilered because this was posted at the same time as Luxire's reply. Let's consider the matter dealt with.

    I now feel stupid. [IMG]

May be we should all watch football together some day. All the anger can then be directed towards the referee while we can sip bier, wearing our Luxire gear.

By the next world cup, you can order team gear too from Luxire. Hopefully.

Our best jacket till date. Was pleasantly surprised this morning. Some more small improvements, but, we are almost there.

I'll snap some better shots later, but here are a couple:

EDIT: And just to add, the fabric is ridiculously comfy. Pants are very well made too.

I laughed out loud. Personally, I think you guys would be entitled to outrage if these two items had been ordered together -- it's one pith helmet away from looking like a uniform those stinking Brits would have worn during the Raj.

They look very nice both in fit and colour.
EDIT: are yours lined? to the knee or full leg?
I have a swatch of that fabric and I thought it was too light, I would have preferred it to be slightly darker, but seeing it as a full pant makes a great difference and makes me change my mind.

Can't wait for my second pair of linen pants from Luxire hoping that the changes I made to the previous ones turn out in a nice fit like yours, then it would be kopping like there's no tomorrow!!

Left my coffee at home and had to turn around to go get it. Ran into the Fedex man, who had my Luxire package. First try on delivery, a miracle! Didn't get a chance to unpack, so I have jeans, a Persian green shirt, and a (comically unseasonal) flannel waiting for me at home.

Total was about six weeks, but that includes shipping a pair of jeans in to be replicated. If you're in a hurry, place multiple orders and leave the replications on their own orders.

I like that spelling. It also makes clear that it should be a Holland match, though that was kind of obvious if we want to see real voetbal. :)

That is a great looking one.

How is the process for ordering one? what kind of measurements you need? Any hint about pricing?
