He did. He is quite the photog.
Clean fit in the seat and front? No need for pictures, but just something that folks were discussing recently.
Yep, I'd be interested in this as well, as nearly everyone is experiencing some issues with the seat of the trousers.
I will try to get non-gratuitous pictures later. Seat is pretty clean (although could probably be let out some), much better than my previous pair of dugdale worsteds that experienced the same "wedgie" effect discussed above.
Edit - also just realized my cuffs have buttons in them (to let them down?). Is this standard? I'm fine with it but I did not request it.
What measurements or requests did you change to remove the wedgie effect? The cuff-buttons are there to let you clean the cuffs without the need to open and close the cuff.
I made a few small changes - brought the half-hip measurement in by an inch, hip measurement in by an inch and a half (although both of these will be going back out by .25 next time), and reduced the front rise by 1.75 inches (but kept the back rise the same). Asked for a "casual chino style" and for them to scoop and curve the seat to account for my gigantic butt.
I cannot wait for my mac to arrive. I hope it fits well.
It cost me $500. I might order one in beige soon too.
Hope all turns out well, you've waited a while for this mate.
My shirt ordered April 20, shipped yesterday, so should receive it early next week!
Thanks for the pics CD, they look great. I'll try to get up some pics of mine after I pick them up from getting hemmed this weekend.
Rain Mac and Harrington look great. Can't wait for my Mac.
A shame about the lining colour of the Harrington - but I agree with others that the colour chosen looks pretty damn good...! You might be able to get a good tailor to figure something out with the armholes...
If I have learnt one thing thru spending ~5k with Luxire, it's that you should be as decriptive and accurate as possible to avoid misunderstandings.
Ie don't say "dark brown horn buttons" - attach a picture of roughly what you are after. Don't say oxblood - send a photo of the colour, or ask Luxire if then can send you a few photos of what they have so you can pick.
Hopefully the new site will make things a bit easier for us and for Luxire.
Maybe this has been answered here before but does Luxire offer split-back yokes and if is there an extra charge?
Split yoke is standard on Luxire shirts and they do an excellent job pattern matching
Good to know. Thank you!
Hey guys. Could anyone recommend a light grey wool fabric for dress pants for the summer. The Minnis Fresco-Light Grey Plain fabric looks amazing. It's weight is 9-10 oz / 280-310 gr)Do you guys have experience with this fabric? Is this lightweight enough for the summer?
