This is something i look forward to Luxire ramping up, their custom suit/sports coat service. I have seen some fantastic examples on this thread, and would certainly be interested in some sports coats. I look forward to them including such an option on their website as well (unless there is already one and i missed it)...

Looks great. Was this one of the $100 trial bags? What's the expected price range for a bag like this?

Very cool, definitely interested to read your review once you get the shoes.

Any differences between these fabrics: Classic Blue Oxford vs Classic Blue Summer Oxford, other than the price? Which one of the three pictures on the first oxford is the most accurate? After having seen NOBD's pics of it, I'm guessing it's the second one.

@luxire any chances of getting some hemp fabrics for trousers and jackets?

The Classic Blue Summer Oxford is of lighter weight and lighter color (the blues are lighter, the whites are brighter), the weave is finer. The Classic Blue Oxford is woven coarser, the color is a bit steely blue, 2nd pic is quite accurate.

Please keep in mind that there are two Classic Blue Summer Oxfords, GTZ48271 and GTZ46928. The later is even brighter, very close to the Sky Blue Oxford.

It's always great to receive the Luxire orders!

I really can't complain about anything with Luxire. They nailed every single detail. I gave them more accurate measurements of the collar I wanted, the shirring, the chest measurement and everything is spot on. Will try to post for pics next week, they need a wash.

And I think I did my job well and think I achieved a nice fit on Luxire shirts.

Full details on those collars would be much appreciated, including the spread. They look great!

Does anyone else have problems with the thin buttons breaking? My drycleaner smashed 5 (!) of them today, even though it was a brand new shirt.

There's a special place in hell for people who post pictures without providing the fabric details. A place right next to the people who record vertical iphone videos!

Will be traveling to Lugano for a conference on 3D body measurement techniques. Hoping that some day, we can do away with the measuring tapes.

Also planning on spending some time around Naples to pickup some good fabric and trims.

Will remain accessible over email but mail replies may be slow at times.

Production, shipping and most of customer service will be running as usual.

This is the image I sent to Luxire. On a prevoius order I asked them to copy a Barba collar but didn't include he front height measurement and I felt that the collar was to high. Now I included that measurement and it turned out great. I measured in cm cause I felt I could be more exact.

What I will owe you is the spread... I don't know how to measure that.

For reference order are #8810 and #8811

If someone wants the pic in full resolution, PM me and I'll send it to you cause here appears a bit small. [IMG]

Sorry, I was via mobile yesterday.

    These are the fabrics:

    Pale Blue Poplin Summer

    Pale Blue Dress Stripes

That last one is great. I would get the green one in my next order.

Does anyone have fabric samples of the many fine cavalry twills Luxire stocks? It would be such waste to order a clip of each if someone already has them and could ship to me. I could afterwards pass on the favour.

I just received a pair of shorts this week. I'll post them when I get a chance, but they turned out excellent. The only mistake was that I asked for no crease to be ironed into them but it had a crease anyway.... oh well. They are this fabric (which is excellent - sort of feels like a summer moleskin):

Another datum on turnaround: Ordered three shirts based on existing pattern on 10/10, shipped last night

For me at least, Luxire is still winning.

Any suggestions for some non-navy/blue flannels on lower end on the price scale?
