I stayed home from the beach today to receive my first pair of pants. I must say I am impressed by Luxire. To deliver this kind of service and these pants for under $100 is amazing. Thank you @EFV for the help. I pretty much stole your desing and made some minor adjustments.

Might be a dumb question but I'm not really familiar with pant fabrics. Which pant fabrics that Luxire offers are good for wearing to a business casual environment? Chinos are not really allowed and looked at the flannel options, those look a little too heavy for everyday wear.

My response time seems to vary a lot. Sometimes it's same day, but right now, I've been waiting about 3 weeks for a status update on an order that's 3 months old. I might be an outlier though, as I've order some complicated garments.

If the flannels seem too heavy and you live in a warm-ish climate, check out the Minnis Fresco fabrics

If in a warm climate also consider a linen-cotton mix as a less expensive option. Especially if you're ordering your first pants from Luxire: you don't want your first experiment to be that expensive.

Good point, I retract my statement and agree with this. Move on to Fresco once you have your fit nailed down

It is chocolate brown plain linen. They don't seem to have it anymore.

To clear this up - I live in NYC, does it still make sense to start with linen cotton or is that a little too casual. Writing where I live to say that's it's not ridiculously hot here year round for choosing a fabric.

Hey guys, sent an e-mail to Theresa early this week but still have yet to receive a response so I was hoping to get some feedback on here. This is my first MTM shirt and fits decently but a couple things are definitely problems. Would anyone have suggestions on how to fix the lines going from the second button to the shoulders? Is this a result of posture? Also, how would one clean up the back, is there a way to do so without darts?

I will also likely be making adjustments for dropped and pitched forward right shoulder, rotating arms back a bit, a slight taper from the elbow to the wrist, and trying to cut top of back a bit to prevent puckering at bottom of the collar (thank you Tailors' Thread).

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

That's too bad they don't have it anymore, I love this fabric. It was my first pair of Luxire pants and I still wear them all the time.

It all depends on how people dress at your workplace, linen-cotton blends may work for most workplaces that are biz-casual, but if people at your office dress up more then you should start with something dressier. I have a hunch they should be fine for 95% of biz-cas environments. And when winter comes, try some of the flannels, because you'll need them by then.

How does the stiff unfused lining compare to a medium fused lining? Will they have the about the same rigidity?

@luxire Any comment on the removal of the $25 shipping for Canada?

Edit: How do you mention someone using their username?

Couple of (pretty bad) pics from my last order: Chocolate Duck Canvas pants and Brembana Seersucker shirt. Thanks Luxire! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Edit: of course, feedback, negative or positive, is as usual always welcome. :)
