I would recommend a shirt fit-type bigger than your standard shirts. Thus, if you wear super-slim shirts, the jacket should be increased to slim measurements and so on.

A 1 to 2 inch increase in half chest, waist, bottom measurements and marginal increase in yoke, biceps, cuff should work fine.

As far as the patterns on your website - how do I go about sizing them up? Some have pennies in the picture and that works pretty well (although some measuring tape would work better maybe?) but some don't. The ones that don't are the ones I question - "does the windowpane pattern take up the size of a shirt pocket, or inch by inch?" etc.

That remains a limitation. We are working on adding the coin to all fabrics.

If there are any particular fabrics for which you would like scale information, do let me know.

Which windowpane are we talking about? This one has a real shirt also among the pictures.

    Luxire,

You posted some great flannels on a swatch card in a previous post - will those be available on your website soon? I am particularly interested in the red/black gingham.

    Thanks,
    ET

What is the turnaround on a pair of pants? I'm thinking of having measurements and styling copied from a current pair, and was wondering how long it may take to have the new pair made.

Also, any timeline on when we may see some wool options?

If you send a pant to replicate, it would take about 2-3 weeks to get the pant made after the sample pant is received by us.

For orders where samples are not sent, it is 2-3 weeks after the order is placed.

Expecting wool tweeds and flannels later this month.

My latest order of casual shirts arrived. I haven't washed/ironed them yet (tags still on in the photos below). This is my first "real" order after two trial runs getting things dialed in. I am thrilled with the way these fit. Tight where I want them and loose where I don't. I can only say positive things about the company, and most notably Theresa who helped me with fitting for this entire process. I was able to send her photos and her suggestions for changes have been spot on.

http://custom.luxire.com/products/classic-blue-oxford (love the softness of this oxford despite not having washed it!)

http://custom.luxire.com/products/brown-ecru-checks-twill (I can already tell I'm going to love this one, very cozy)

I hope these photos aren't inappropriate. I have lost a fair amount of weight over the last 6 months (still losing a bit more in my belly) and Luxire has helped me repopulate my wardrobe.

If yall are replicating existing trousers, is it possible to send them back to the customer before the new pants arrive? There may be an additional cost, I would assume. Thanks.

atoms imo you look fantastic in your shirts.
    Great selection of fabrics also.
Would you mind sharing more closeup pics to get a better impression on fabric and fit in detail?

The pant is required for making the pattern. After the pattern is made, the new pant takes only 3-4 days more.

What do you do with the new pants; do you deconstruct it, or just take measurements?

Also, do you tape seams, like they do on Howard Yount trousers?
