I'm about to order a pair of off-white jeans. Any fabric suggestions?

Just placed an order for some dress shirts to wear with suits - and I specified the cutaway collar I wanted this time:

this blue hairline stripe and this pale blue hairline stripe. I thought about adding a blue end-on-end, but I think I'll wait and see how these turn out.

Also included in the order was this gingham oxford with a BD collar and a pair of pants in this glen plaid fabric.

I didn't make any major changes to my existing pattern for the shirts and the trousers so it should be a speedy delivery. :slayer:

What's the order number so I can reference this next time I get pants. Seriously fantastic stuff! Anyone who talks shit on pleated trousers should be shown these an an example of why pleats exist.

It looks like your lapels may be bowing. That would prevent the tips from being tucked away.

Yep, unfortunately. Was my first order and I read in the thread that NOBD collars are unfused, lightly lined, so didn't specify any further - got fused.

True. The fit around the neck isn't exactly snug either. Is that something that can be altered?

That is an incredibly wimpy knot and skinny tie. What is that thing, like 2.5"? You have chosen some nice, substantial collars. I suggest you improve your tie game to match your collars.

Wow, ordered two shirts on Friday 31 January and received my shipping confirmation today! Expecting to receive them on Friday - just a week after placing the order. :)

Luxire, I'm still waiting for your confimation on my order email. I'd hate to receive an order with none of the details I enjoy.

You didn't include your details in the actual order?

    That's weird

    Lightning fast!

Decided to wait for FedEx today since I had nothing to do at work. Should be another hour.

My shirt order has been slow but I don't mind as long as they get the shirring details right. Hope it was delayed for extra supervision by Theresa :)

This looks amazing. Don't tempt me like this...

... I'll think about one for my next order... [IMG]

Here's an open question for the crowd: what would you think about adding a self-fabric belt (with maybe just 3 loops: centre back and one either side) at the waist to a noragi, so it becomes sort of like a very abbreviated kimono or somewhat smart sash cardigan? Too destructive to its inherently simple lines? Or acceptable variation?

I know you quoted Terpo but I think you're talking about NOBDs pictures with his navy tie.

I will always assume NOBD knows exactly what he's doing. I have yet to see something from him I don't like.
