Hey Luxire, I recently ordered a grey oxford and sent this custom pocket diagram along to the contact email. Is is possible to create custom pocket shapes, I havent heard back yet? FYI the pocket would be on the left side, sloping to the center of the chest.

Sorry for being pedantic, but I think it's usually called "gape," since they gape open. Although, I suppose the gaping causes a gap.

Btw, Beatlegueuse, I agreed w/ mjester's recs for your shirt, in case you missed my thumb above.

I have a bit of this. Is it caused by the buttocks not having enough fabric?

In other news, another shirt ordered. Probably the last shirt for a long while, unless more blue linen arrives (unlikely since I'll be the only one that needs it) or I feel the need to go for the end on end or chambray linen.. which isn't out of the question.

    Luxire -

You mention this is micro check. It's actually hounds tooth (or puppy tooth, as NOBD called it). I think it makes it much more appealing. You may want to change the title.

Looks very nice in the pic. I need that for next summer :)

(Luxire, can you add a swatch of that one to my order of the blue-end-on-end-linen-shirt-with-the-special-buttons-that-I'm-very-eager-to-get :).)

And everybody needs lots of blue linen.

Is it the Blue Micro Checks 60s? In case so I just received a swatch of it an hour ago with my two latest shirts. I agree, it is a nice fabric, fantastic pattern, light weight and a good feel to it. If you don't already own a shirt made of it another fabric you might be interested in is the Blue Micro Gingham Linen. On a side note regarding my just received shirts, both the Warzone Plus White Oxford and the Pale Pink Classic Oxford are great fabrics as well. Out of the box more sturdy Oxfords, close in feel to the Classic Blue Oxford in contrast to the soft Sky Blue Oxford, but definitely comfortable wearing against the skin and I am very certain these will soften up with washes. Also have the feeling I made some good progress regarding the fit of my shirts and prefer the thin MOP buttons over the standard ones I have on my other Luxire shirts. Paired with the fact I did not have to pay additional fees for receiving the package I could not be happier with the order.

I like that linen a lot--almost ordered one recently. Figured it was time to stop ordering summer shirts though :(

    Opinion time:

Ordering Bemberg lining for the inside of jackets, back of vests and possibly lining some pants.

    a. If we go for 5 colors, which ones should we go for?

    b. What kind of colors / patterns for the sleeve lining are desired?

Is anyone ever apprehensive about ordering a whole bunch of swatches, but if you're ready to order one of them a few months from now they're out of stock?
