Superb choice mate. Your suggested changes have enhanced it a few folds.
Unfortuantely you will have to do without me for a while as I need to reroute some of my spending money when the No Purchase Club is over to a better camera to take some pictures.
And Luxire needs a tumblr, fyi.
Please. Detailed review.
Well I actually like the blueish depicted in the photo. But the thing is with lighting and stuff I'm not sure if the color is accurate in real life

White Pique with wood buttons:
Will be glad to do it.
Also, any guidance in creating a Tumblr will be appreciated. Tried a couple of times but could never make it look half as nice as some of the ones that inspired.
You'd better elect someone with better tumblr knowledge than I. As you can see from my link, I JUST started.
I still say NOBDs pics still need to be put in one viewable place. Like.. a tumblr.
Agree on NOBD images. Soon, the NOBD collar would need its own Tumblr!
Sky Blue Linen Cotton - A Luxire Exclusive Fabric
Polos: Grey and Blue
Nice polo's. It's the style I like.
Question: How well can my shirt patterns transfer over to polo's were I to order some?
this looks nice. When you post some of these, it might help to describe how the collar differs from your stock pattern.
is that the same fabric as this one http://luxire.com/collections/dress-shirts/products/sky-blue-linen-cotton
on my monitor the pic on this thread looks considerably darker for a sky blue. which is closer to the shade in real life?
^ I just received a shirt in the sky blue linen cotton fabric - I'd say it's much closer to the picture on the website than the one in this thread. Here's a quick picture (the color is reasonable accurate):
It is, incidentally, a really nice fabric - it's got a nice texture to it, and I do like the color. I was mildly concerned when I ordered it that it would be too bright, but in real life it's pretty nice. Decidedly brighter than some of my blue oxford shirts, but not too much so - given that it's a summery shirt, it works well.
As it happens, the collar on this shirt is the result of taking measurements and sending in pictures of a Mercer buttondown collar. I'm very pleased with the results - my previous buttondowns from luxire just weren't quite right.
Here's a closer shot of just the collar:
