Luxire, would it be possible to order tailored swim trunks? I love the look and details of Orlebar Brown swim trunks (side tabs, non-elastic waistband, etc.) but am not sure I'm willing to spend that kind of $$, especially as I don't have easy access to try them on. It probably would not be feasible to stock fabrics for what would be a limited number of garments; therefore I'm assuming CMT is the only possibility. Is there anything about polyamide fabrics and polyester linings that would be too difficult to deal with? Or could other fabrics work just as well (Epic perhaps)? Could you (or others) think of any other problems this might pose? Thanks!

We may actually have a polyamide fabric in Navy. Will check and revert. Polyester mesh is not a problem. A couple of the epic options should work well too. As they wont soak water, should dry quickly.

Am not sure how it would react to sea water, cannot imagine an issue though.

First shirt from Luxire. Received a few weeks ago wearing for the first time.

Extremely happy with construction, fit and mostly collar. Wished buttons were more pearly than milky, but small nit pic.

Very nice ensemble! What fabric is this, and what collar style?

Epic is a fabric with a silicon interior, sea water shouldn't be a problem for its performance. May not get along with the dye too well.

How about chlorine? (I use my OB's for swimming pools as well.)

Should be fine (not that I can promise anything). You may slightly lower the life of the fabric versus a coat if the chlorine breaks down the polymer. I think you'd be very happy with it though. I have a coat in Epic and it preforms extremely well.

Luxire, am I right thinking thin MOP buttons can be had cheaper than thick ones because they can be cut from thinner (parts of) shell?

Just like NOBD I would be willing to pay a premium of up to $10 for more pearly buttons compared to the misty ones but $20 or $45 I definitely would not pay.
In general I would love to see a greater offering of thin buttons. Not flimsy, but something like 1/2 to 2/3 of your regular option's thickness so the buttons could be made up more easily.
