Flannels are great. Get heavier ones (>9 oz) or twill weaves if you are at all rough on trousers as it's easy to wear through lightweight flannels with open weaves.

Guide here has lots of winter options http://woollenhulls.com/post/175465671341/luxire-trouser-guide

I've just tried the Drago 'rugby' flannel series and really like it.

any pics of these slacks?..on or off your body...do they hold shape thruout the day?........I like look of the cloth alot...

Classic Grey Oxford

Even though Oxford fabric has a slightly coarse and heavy texture, it is a soft, breathable and durable fabric to wear on a daily basis. Known for its characteristic ‘basket’ weave, the fabric is usually reserved for shirts paired with a button down collar. A versatile 'must have’ for every wardrobe.

* Broke & Bespoke Button Down Collar.
* One Button Custom Cuff.
* No Pleat.
* Standard Placket.
* Side Seam Gusset.
* Rounded Brest Pocket.

No pics right now, but the rugby flannel is springy and performs pretty well so far for me. Like any flannel I've worn, you'll need to re-press between wears if you want it to look sharp.

I just got my first shirt from Luxire. I haven't tried it on as I wanted to wash it first, but the first thing I noticed was the collar size. I did not stipulate a size but the collar (Italian) looks huge. I've compared it to a few pictures online of Italian collar shirts, and the collar on mine looks bigger than both. I was expecting a smaller one. I wondered if this was a question of style.

It seems that most of the posters on this thread are American, and that the larger collars often posted here are more fashionable or in style in America than in the UK. I look at some of the button-down collars with ties with the big roll posted here and to my eyes they look ridiculous, and the collars ludicrously large. *Even the Warzone plus white oxford posted above looks to me like it has a really big collar ). Each to his own, of course, but I wondered how much of that perception was cultural. Any UK readers here care to comment?
