That may be a bit much to offer/allow reviews weeks and months after use...that could add uneccessary volume to a site?...but it is a good idea to build on

and if u r not getting around to wearing something w/in a month of purchase you simply have too much to wear!!!..lol

    I me
I mean the ability to edit and adjust the review. The character limitation should still apply.

In the last case I have ordered some thicker trousers for fall / winter and the weather was not ready to useful those within a month from delivery which was very quick during the summer. But also I've gone a bit wild on Luxire trousers and have 20+ pairs in total :)

I'm in the eComm website business and the issue of site load is a non issue. Most major sites use a third party party to manage the review functionality and we've never run into a performance issue.

Is that the standard button or do you've to make an active choice?

Luxire kindly shipped me a few items to check fit on a new pattern before starting on a few more expensive fabrics. I'm planning on washing a few times before deciding, but here's a preview.

    IMG_1351.JPG
    Shirring on shoulders and back.

    IMG_1371.jpg IMG_1373.jpg
Brembana university stripes and Sondrio cotton/linen. The trousers fit on the large side, both on the waist (which may be causing the seat issues) and the length. I'm wondering if a wash will tighten things up.

The cotton/linen has a much softer hand than I anticipated. The weight and weave seem seasonally versatile, but I'm not sure it's the best fabric for a classic trouser style like this. I almost wish I had used it in a pair of drawstring pants.

    Feedback appreciated.

JIMB, I dig the shirring. As for fit, I might be inclined to take in the stomach a bit (0.5"?), and add a bit to the cuff --give especially a watch allowance on the left.

As for the trousers, the best thing I think is to work directly with Luxire via email and photos as adjustments can be tricky and they'll know the best approach from your feedback. In general I would not count on shrinkage to help your fit ; you want to establish a reproducible pattern that will also work with wool, etc. They don't look far off anyhow.

@JIMB work on the trouser fit issue with cheaper fabrics for now. Even taking Luxire's advice every step of the way, it took several orders to get the seat issue figured out.

nice fit overall!.....perhaps dart back of shirt to clean up that area.....

btw, what bd collar is that?......fused ? lined?

    nice fits overall...

I know shirring is a personal taste..........and I kinda like it at times...but more often to me it just makes a "messy" looking fit

That's part of the appeal. Sprez. Your clothes shouldn't make you look like a mannequin, but have some life and dishevelment to them.
