[IMG] Has anyone ordered a shirt with a collar like this Mattabisch by Kiton one? If so, how did it turn out and what measurements and specifications did you use?

    Thanks mate.

Here are the pics of my shirt, going to wash it today and iron it later, that's why it's all full of wrinkles and I just took the pics did not wear it like that. [IMG]

For my next order I will shorten the chest, I asked for 23.5" will lower it to 23" and the waist from 19" to 18.5". I asked for 19.5" shoulder seam to shoulder seam. I'm glad that I can extend my arms without feeling that the fabric is going to cut through my lats. The second pic is Barba Napoli shirt, it has 19" from shoulder to shoulder and 22" in the chest... and well it's tight as you can notice. What I did is I measured that Barba Napoli and took what I like from it, sleeve lenght, waist measurement and the collar. Then I have another shirt (I don't pics of that one) and took the chest from it, so I kinda mixed the two shirts. [IMG]

Probably better to measure a well fitting shirt IMO

A lot of people seem to mess up body measurements from what I've seen of other mtm services

And I think if you don't specifiy the collar it's fused and lined. I could be wrong though

Betelgeuse, I agree with the changes you have in mind.

I would only have the back of the waist reduced though, it's the place where the excess fabric sits and the front looks fine.

Other from that what comes to my mind is the following:
Ask for the sleeves to be cut noticeably slimmer, the ones of the Barba shirt look a lot more appealing.
Have the height of the cuffs increased. You seem to be a normal/tall guy with long arms I think the cuffs on the Luxire shirt look too small.
Maybe reduce the shoulder seam to seam measurement to 19.25". The Barba shirt does not look too far off in that regard and on the Luxire one it seems as if the seams don't fall on the tips of your collar bone.

Don't get too jealous. All the shirts are going back. I sent in 3 for remakes, one being the first I ever ordered that's unwearable, and ordered 2 more for a total of 5 shirts. They're all replicated like the first unwearable shirt. Strange. I guess that's the gamble with big orders.

It's fabric 85860, might not be on the site. 100% cotton. They fit great. Pics later.

Thanks, will consider this. The cuffs, I made a mistake... I was going to ask for 2.75" but I still don't know why I wrote down 1.75". I think I was thinking the neck height that is 1.75". My unconsciuos tricked me. [IMG]

Damn that blows. So they actually remade the shirts with the exact same measurements as the previous incorrectly made shirts? And to top it off they made your new shirts with the same incorrect measurements? At least the pants came out good.

I think so. It's the only logical explanation. But I'd rather not post about it until it's resolved. I don't want to be one to blow up, only to have Luxire one-up me with great customer service. Hopefully they tell me to just send all 5 back to NJ.

Nop, 185cm, 6'1" if I'm not wrong. That's the measurement the Barba has.

7cm is a regular cuffs height. At 185cm it's the right choice.

Maybe cbfn thought that I was going to order a trouser with 2.75" cuffs. [IMG]

See, it's hard to say anything bad about Luxire when it's completely undeserved. Therese responded telling me to send the shirts to NJ for alteration. I had made the changes late in the email and they were missed due to the poor communication by me. She is covering them regardless as they were communicated, however poorly.

I thought I would hate this after I ordered it. I like it actually.

Tie is a little low. Excuse that.

The pants fit as good as I can expect.. the rear is messed up but that's not Luxire, that's my weird hips and arse. I'll work with Therese to get the next ones great.

Those pants look good. That's the normal front pleat they do or do you ask for something special to get it that way?

    Normal front pleat.

Luxire is getting some serious pant orders when I get the time to decide what I want. These are great.
