Thank you, I don't know how I missed that. :embar:

Another question: So sometime ago, I ordered a custom shirt from Tailor Store, and like Luxire, they don't ask for "mid-arm", or elbow width measurement like Modern Tailor does. The result was a sleeve with a fuller shape as in the light blue shirt from the picture below. You can only see the edges where it exceeds in dimension from the gingham shirt on top (from Modern Tailor) that I used for reference as the exact sleeve shape and measurements I am looking for:

When contacted, Tailor Store was not able (or willing?) to accomodate my request for a sleeve shaped as that of the gingham shirt above, which turned me off from ordering any more from them.

My question is-- when commissioning a custom shirt from Luxire, how can I convey my wish for a sleeve shaped with such a curved arm inseam as the one displayed above?

Oh, and yet another question.... I can't seem to be able to find where on the site I can sign up for a customer account, only to sign in if I have already registered?

Also, I can't seem to find what the shipping cost to the U.S. is, even after reading thoroughly that section in the FAQs. Am I to assume that the cost is $20, even though the shipping to Canada is free??[/quote]

Shipping to the US is free.

I've been much happier with the Luxire shirts I've gotten. Nicer buttons, more consistent construction, just better overall. The free shipping is a plus too, especially compared to the $10/shirt charge from MT (if I recall correctly). Really makes Luxire a clear winner on cost/value.

You can specify the sleeve width at multiple points in the notes:
2" from armpit, 3" from armpit 4" from armpit, 5.5" from armpit and so on. You can be as specific as you like. Only request is that it be kept bulleted and unambiguous.

The account creation happens after the order is placed. Once you checkout, you are given an option to add a password for account creation. Not ideal for custom clothing, but, we are working on it.

The White Twill is a nice fabric - pretty thick, and resists wrinkles pretty well. I'd guess that it'll get really soft with some use / washing. I haven't tried any of the plain white oxfords, but the purple stripe Oxford is really nice as well - thinner and more prone to wrinkling, but a very nice fabric, especially for the price.

Excuse my poor English, with "rough-textured" I was not referring to the feel of the fabric but the looks of it. I think the bottom center swatch looks more textured out of the two deep indigo ones. Obviously the top right one is the most visually textured out of all the pant fabrics.

Do you know where Arvind sources their cotton and whether it is ringspun?
Regarding stretch, I don't think there is a standard in clothing fabric like in climbing ropes, but you could tell us if those fabrics are unsanforized, sanforized or prewashed and how they compare in stretch to one another.

Yeah the thing with the denim is it's going to take some guinea pig buyers in here to buy the jeans and then figure out how bad/much the stretch factor will play.

I'm quite interested in a white oxford after destroying the one I had; however, I'm not interested in a too thick one. I already have the university blue striped oxford and the sky blue oxford, and the fabric is perfect. Does anybody know if any of the white oxford farbics Luxire has is close to these in thickness and feel? I think the warzones might be a bit too hefty, and the royal is after my understanding quite shiny?

To my hands the Warzone White Oxford (none plus) has a very similiar if not identical feel to all the other Classic Oxford swatches I have got.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with it if you like the other two.
The swatch of the Warzone White Oxford Plus on the other hand is every so slightly stiffer and a little off-white compared to the none plus.

    Thanks, highly appreciate it!
Luxire: Is the Warzone White Oxford from Brembana as well?

I own a shirt of both classic blue oxford and the sky blue oxford. The former is a lot thicker than the latter, so I would imagine that the warzone white oxford is on par with the classic oxford and possibly a bit thicker. (due to the warzone terminology, suggesting a sturdier, and thus thicker fabric)

On an another subject: sizing the neck for a formal dress shirt is quite difficult. I know that a 16.5" neck is too tight, so I would probably need at least a 16.75" or possibly a 17". But I feel a 17" neck will look a bit sloppy. On my BD-shirts, where the top button is always unbuttoned and never worn with a tie, 16.5" is good. But 16.5" buttoned up, as mentioned, is too tight.

Anyone else "struggling" to get the right fit for a shirt you intend to wear with a tie?

    Wait! What?
We are talking about the following two fabrics, right?
    http://luxire.com/products/classic-blue-oxford
    http://luxire.com/products/sky-blue-oxford

I don't own a shirt of either fabric yet but to me the swatches feel and look excatly the same except for the color.
Sure neither of your shirts was made in a Royal Oxford fabric instead?

    Yes, those two fabrics.

As you've mentioned the sky blue is lighter in colour but I would say that the classic blue oxford is noticeably thicker than the sky blue oxford. And from that, I would gather that the warzone oxford is on par with the classic blue and possibly slightly thicker, but I don't know.

According to the emails from Luxire (order confirmation) the other shirt is not of the sky blue and not of the royal oxford fabric.
