Thanks for the replies. I think one gap in the Luxire collection is a soft, thinnish white Oxford, ie similar to the famous sky blue Oxford, and the light blue stripes. I just can't get comfortable in the white war zone.

I have the G&R White Pinpoint Oxford, it's very nice.
It's not really comparable to the sky blue oxford. It's a lot thinner and softer.
It's also much more expensive.

But if you are looking for something soft and thin, I recommend it.

I don't want something too dressy - i.e. the oxford weave needs to be prominent, not a royal oxford or pinpoint. But at the same time breathable and 3-4 season wear.

Do you think it fits the bill?

On another note, hat do people think of end-on-end for a BD collar casual white shirt for the warmer months?

Depending on how warm your climate is, I'd recommend the cool white linen-cotton for a BD collar casual white shirt.

Anyone have these chinos made up with IRL images? I am looking to have my fit sport coat made up with this cloth, Graphite Green Soft Plain Chino.

I put a shirt order in about a week ago and just realized I think I made a mistake. I emailed the Lux crew to clarify but wanted to run it by you all in the interim.

The problem: Shoulders are too broad/wide, putting the sleeve to shoulder seam about 0.5'' down wrapping over my shoulder.
What I put in the comments: "reduce yoke by 0.5'' on each side (left and right)"
Should I have said: "reduce shoulder by 0.5'' on each side (left and right)

No difference, minor difference or major difference in my instructions?

Thanks all!

It's for work, casual-ish days. So I think linen cotton would be a little too casual. I also already have a Linen white BD and a cellular white popover.

I just got my first cool white linen cotton shirt yesterday. Definitely not too casual to wear to the office for an attorney in New Orleans. I'll probably wear it to court.

Agreed, I don't think it's too casual at all, I've worn mine with a cotton SC and tie. But it's also really versatile and I've worn it with shorts & sneakers and the sleeves rolled up.

Jacket in raw, unbleached canvas, vest made in our knittted indigo

Some very casual elements brought together into an elegant street look.

Not bad. Good to see you guys staying in the leather jacket game and hope you keep improving. Now, someone needs to order a Safari/Field/Shirt jacket in a luxurious mid-brown suede.
