(not to go on a photography rant, but...)

Spoo - I didn't see that anyone else had mentioned this before, and I understand that you're probably doing it for stylistic reasons, but heavy depth-of-field (DOF) on your tie pics is doing them a disservice.

Here's a great example - only a very narrow band of the pic is in focus, the rest is out of focus and blurry. It's not how it looks in real life (unless you're squinting) and doesn't do a good job of conveying what the tie would really look like (I'd also nitpick the forced crop/framing isn't doing the pic any favors either by unnecessarily cramping it, but that's not my main issue):

If that was only occasional, I wouldn't mention it; but it's used in almost every, single shot. It almost feels like I'm browsing your ties in a store where every one is less than 2 feet away and most of the views are from 6 inches or less. I swear there are time when it feels like I look at every pic of a tie and am still not quite sure what it would look like if I wore it because it feels like I've only seen it through a telescope. This definitely happens on intricate patterns where your the narrow focus helps show-off the details but without enough corresponding "big picture" views, the tie itself gets lost.

Note - I almost think you're already getting better at this but doing it less, because I think I'm seeing less of it than before. But, I'm still posting in case that's not intentional on your part.

Feel free to ignore, but I hope this helps!

Packed nice. It's what's inside that counts. I dare not open it, as my wrapping skills are not the same. It's ready for when gifts are to be exchanged...

Will let you know around the 25th :slayer:
