    Third that. I'm a 10 in GG and a 9.5 in Carmina.

I have G&G in TG73 and MH71 lasts in size UK8.5E. I found these to fit similar to Carminas in Rain, Forest, and Inca lasts in UK8. The Carminas are maybe a smidge wider than the G&G's, but they essentially fit the same for me. I consider these 5 lasts to be very well fitting for my feet.

I've never tried the Alcudia and Simpson lasts, but what I've read is that the Alcudia last is pretty difficult to fit (not sure for what reason), and the Simpson last basically is not good for most people who fits the Rain last well. This is why I had to pass on this sale here, because these two lasts makes up most of the models offered.

Alcudia and Simpson are the two most narrow lasts, I believe - much narrower toe box etc. so that's why they don't align with people who fit well into the Rain last.

I'm an 11 in some lasts and 11.5 in others but I won't even bother with Simpson or Alcudia. I think they'd be too skinny for me.

And that's why they have a big ass thread for sizing!

This has been my experience as well. I have a slightly narrower than medium US9.5 foot. I wear UK8.5 in all the Carmina lasts I have tried. I thought I could get away with UK8.5E in G&G (wear that size in several EG for Ralph), but the UK8.5E in the TG73 last was way too short.

Yeah, I think straightforward US D width shoe wearers won't have too much difficulty. It's people with E width and above that may be more all over the place with full size down, half size down, and some lasts not being able to work at all.

At least that's what I noticed when I read the first dozen pages or so of the thread Spoo started.

Well, I hope you enjoy them. I would have kopped them if I didn't just buy some honey brown loafers. Great for Spring/Summer when you are not wearing a suit & tie.

I wear the same size G&G as Alcudia.

That would make sense, as Alcudia is the narrowest Carmina last.

My guess is you would need to size down by 1/2 for the wider Carmina lasts.

Go for it. I was tempted because the Forest last fits me very well, but couldn't justify it since I have a very similar shoe already.

I think I will. I just need to double check to make sure the 11 will work and that I wouldn't need an 11.5 - pretty sure 11 will be fine. I bought some monks off Stitchy on the Inca last and an 11 worked just fine.

I don't have any shortwings, either.

I am an 11UK in the Forest, Rain and Inca lasts. The Forest last is my best fitting last. Rain is a little wider, but still works width-wise for me, but has a higher instep than Forest. Inca is even wider and probably a little wide for me, but still works because the instep is so low that it holds my foot in place very well. Good luck and get that 11UK out of there before I change my mind.
