That tie should be on it's way to Mexico.

I took the opportunity for some low-risk experimentation with colors I have typically excluded from my palette. I liked that brown neat, but I have a couple similar enough that it seemed a bit indulgent.

    Thanks, Spoo!

^ haha this is funny. Why is everyone so into the brown w/ blue circles?? Strange that all of you had an eye for it! I grabbed the brown/red attolini. Wanted the solid purple drake's too but someone took it fast :(.

First of all let me say that spoo was beyond generous in his Christmas gift.
That being said I knew I would never use the drakes tie. As a college student I don't often have the occasion to wear a tie and when I do the situation more often calls a more staid pattern than this awesome tartan.
So I made this my "backup tie" playing off the whole "break glass in case of emergency" thing.
I still haven't decided if it is funy/cool or the ultimate e-gent douchbaggery. The tie may still go back on my rack and join my others but I like the look of this on my shelf for now

No, sir. I picked up the maroon neat and the navy with yellow. I don't have much in the way of red ties (of any shade) and I usually shy away from yellow.

In case someone has missed it, this week's auctions include a five-or-so times worn brown pinstripe suit by Canali in size 40/50. I bought it after seeing RLPL's campaign for brown and white a few seasons back. It's a terrific change-of-pace look, alas my current purchasing policy in suits and jackets is one in, one out.

Wanna look like Ollie Edwards without the extended shoulders of RLPL / St. Andrews - well, bid for that suit.
