The Polo trouser... how's the fit of that one compared to a Zanella? Is it like regular fit or slim?

    Spoo,

I see that the two Kent Wang grenadine ties you currently have on eBay are listed as 62" and 63", but Kent only offers grenadines in one length: 57". What's going on here? AFAIK, KW has never offered custom length ties, and while I've heard of grenadines stretching over time, I can't imagine they'd stretch that much.

Maybe it's how he measures. My KW grenadine, tip to tip, is ~61", not 57", despite what it says on KW's website.

It's hard to imagine that "how he measures" would equate to a difference of 5-6", unless he's holding it vertically by the tip to measure (and thus the tie would be stretched due to gravity).

Interesting that you say your KW tie is 61". I ordered two KW grenadines about a year and a half ago, but returned them as they were actually about 1" shorter than advertised. Have your stretched, or were they 61" from the get-go?

I don't know if mine has stretched, since I only measured out of curiosity due to your post (it triggered a nagging thought that it was a tad long). I've had it less than a year and worn it less than ten times, so I doubt it's stretched very much at all. Perhaps more likely is there is some (maybe even a lot given your experience) variance in KW's manufacturer. I don't know.
