Lunatic coach?

Check out the attached video clip.



This is a high school football coach, coaching in the Mid Atlantic Prep League.

He is coaching kids aged 14-18.

Is his technique appropriate? If your kid was one of the players would you be pissed?

Feedback please.

I've heard worse from high school coaches and fathers yelling at sons on the field.

I'm not saying I'd do it, but it's not unheard of in high school athletics. You could always pull your kid from the program if you disagree with the coach's methods.

At least he isn't harming the kids.

i'd rather my kid get some of that kind of coaching, when someone/whole team - fucked up, then have the new age "everyone is special and deserves their voice to be heard!" kind of guidance.

I'll bet you he had a reason to be angry (failed coverage/assignment/blunder). That way my kid doesn't freak out when he gets a boss like that in the future.

Hahahah! That's actually pretty tame. I've heard worse than that a few times from coaches in our local peewee league.
