No response to dozens of emails, phone calls, and even snail-mail letters. Is he the new Beaman / Franke, and should I just write off my $$$?

Anyone have a clue?

At this stage, I have more or less taken the mental write-off (I paid in full). It'll be a happy surprise if I ever see anything from him.

Sounds like one has to get on a plane to Italy to get it going . . .

What ever happened to half now, half later?

last he mentioned was April.

Apparently he has been out of the office quite a bit to take care of a sick family member.

That's terrible. I really hope you guys get your money's worth or at least a refund. Doesn't Manton have a few pieces by Solito? I understand he was in Napoli in person, but maybe he knows how to reach them?

I saw him in Naples and got fitted for a lot of things. I haven't received any of them. I heard from him recently and he said there is an illness in the family which is keeping him away from work but he swears he will be here soon.

She makes a great soft tailored neapolitan suit, and adjusts the cut to each particular customer, for example I prefer my suits to be cut slimmer, which happens to be her preference as well. I learned that you can't know if a tailor is for you without trying them out yourself and seeing. Forum tales can help you make a decision as to who to try, but you ultimately will decide who works better for you.

In an email to me in november, her prices were stated as: Sportjackets (without fabric) 1200,00 € Suits (without fabric) 1500,00 € Trousers (without fabric) 300,00 € Shirts (with fabric) start from 200,00 € They may have changed, I do not know, the best thing would be to contact her directly and ask: [email protected]

Solito cuts mine plenty slim, certainly different from Manton's. I'm sure Mina would be much more convenient, but I'll be sticking with Solito.

Are those prices VAT included or not?

How much material is needed for trousers?
