1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've seen these slippers on e-bay. They are used and their retail price must be lower than what the average SF member pays for a pair of socks... but then again they are lucky slippers.

The highest bidder looks like a real pr*ck too. Read some of his feedback comments.

Yes I had seen the comments. I wonder if he'll actually and/or if he will be outbid? Is this some sort of e-Bay troll contest?

They truly are lucky slippers if they bring the seller $890. [IMG]

I found the reply to neg. feedback: "Probably of jewish faith." to be particularly abhorent. E-bay should ban his ass.

I remember another item on auction on Ebay that is also a lucky something. I didn't know how well (or terribly) the auction went, but the item was put on auction because he (or was it his wife?) had decided 'it had to go' because it was worn out.
