Anybody else taking testosterone supplements? I've been on Axiron for a few days now and I am already seeing incredible improvements in my energy levels and my mood.
Back story - for the past few years I have been feeling low-level depression that I assumed was because of the stress of grad school and then three years of living away from my family for my job. However, even after getting a great job back in Phoenix, and living with my family again, I still felt unfulfilled. Additionally, it has impacted my intimate relations with my wife.
So, since my new job allowed me to pick a new doctor, I chose one who specializes in hormonal issues and went in for a complete checkup and blood tests. I found out that although I exercise and am active, my test levels were quite low, along with my Vitamin D and Vitamin B levels. Now, I am using Axiron, testosterone, and then I will go back in six weeks for more blood tests to see where I am and what effects the drug are having.
However, as I said, in just a few days my energy level has increased dramatically and mentally I feel better than I have in years. It's almost like one of those things where you don't realize how much your energy level had decreased until you feel better.
Anyone else have experience with this?
