Low rise wearers where do your back pockets sit?

I tried on a pair of low rise pants (they were perhaps a size big) and the back pockets weren't even close to where they should be.

To my mind the top of the back pockets should sit at the top of your rear end (or thereabouts). Now, obviously, given that low rise pants sit at the hips, there isn't much room as you go down from the waistband before you cross that point where (I think) pockets should sit. So do the low rise pants normally put the pockets lower?

Could you tell me, if you have a LR pair, where the pockets sit on you? Could I find a pair of LRs where the pockets will sit where I want them to?

Just have a tailor remove them and mount them flush with the waistband. Duh.

my thing is it shouldn't be so low that the bottom of the pockets are down low below your butt.

they sit perfectly on my ass. just because theyre low rise doesnt mean they have to be at your hamstrings. only the front is lowrise.
