I think for this to look good, you have to have the right shoes and boots and have a nice jacket. It looks kind of silly without a jacket. I have a little bit of a tummy and I think I'm too fat to pull it off

Sometimes, tucking in shirts when you are long torsoed makes your legs look shorter because you can see your waist. If you are going to see your waist, it helps to wear higher waisted pants - it creates the illusion of a higher waist and therefore longer legs (from the point of view as someone who is 5'11" with a 30" inseam).

Another "restriction" on the combination is that the pants should not be very tight in the rear, unless you want to risk certain ideas about you.
