Here are the two pairs of new shoes I got this week. They are styled similarly, but the Prada's have a rubber sole, the LV's are leather. The LV's are very very tight on my feet, but the same shoe one half size bigger made my heel slip out. The Prada's are size 9, the LV's an 8.5. My Polo's (not pictured) are 10.5 My regualr lace up shoe size is 11, there is quite a bit of play when dealing with shoes from different companies even though all the shoes I mentioned were all made in Italty. Does anyone have an experience with these LV shoes and how much they stretched? I'm worried I should have gotten the 9 and tried to make up for the heel issue with an insole?

Yes, I have also found that there can be much size variation among different brands, or even within the same brand.

I've found that for me it's too much of a risk to buy shoes that are too tight. Sometimes they stretch adequately but not always.

That big "Prada" sign on top of the shoe put me off. A real shame for an otherwise good looking shoe.
