Did you guys see CK on Kimmel earlier this week?

He said a couple of interesting things regarding this season and the show in general:
-Total apathy towards continuing or discontinuing plot lines. His brother from last season won't even be mentioned this season, we'll never see his neighbors again, etc.
-His mom is going to be played by a different actress and will actually be nice, much like his real-life mom. The best part was that he admitted that she was such a good actress that he brought her back on to play his love interest in another episode.

Crap! I missed last night's episode. How was it?

Crap about that last part in your spoiler! I loved that character. That was probably my favorite episode ever.

been a pretty dark season

It's been a WEIRD season. This is without having seen last night, but this season seems to be a lot darker and a lot slower paced. I think some things are drawn out a bit too long. The car ride with the kids where he's singing along to the Who, sees the Indian kids at the gas station, bored daughter...it took up HALF the episode. Same for the episode with Joan Rivers....he sat on the couch with her for HALF the episode.

Contrast this with the first season when he gets high...he drops his kids off, eats the ice cream and pizza, tries to workout, talks to his pot smoking roommate, smokes pot, throws bottle of water on car, freaks out, goes to the coffee shop, realizes he needs a dog, buys dog, dog dies, kids come home. A week's worth of stuff happened in 30 minutes. That's definitely not happening this season.

I still love the show, though.

Also, I was watching a bunch of episodes with someone who's never seen it before. It didn't dawn on me just how often characters die in this show....just off the top of my head...his racist great-aunt, his agent, his dog, the crazy homeless man,

Speaking of Louie...I just saw Louis CK perform a couple nights ago. Absolutely hilarious to say the least.

I'm thrilled this has been picked up for another season. This show has a level of honesty that you don't find anywhere. It's just fearless.

Really surprising to see him clear the air with Dane Cook given the barb against him last episode.

Anyone notice the homeless person theme? It seems to appear every other episode or so.

Yeah, its called living in NY.

Just caught up with season 2. As a few others have said, the season has definitely been uneven in its progress. The Pamela episode was rather boring and the great aunt racist thing was awful. The comedy bit at the end with Huck Finn was funny as **** though.
