1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I'm a long time lurker on this forum, and now I am clearing out my closet and am putting some of my things up for sale. In this post I have three remnant sections of Loro Piana cloth that I picked up with the intention of doing CMT suits. I never got around to the suits, so maybe this cloth can find a good home. Because all three are remnants, the short edges are slightly frayed (they were not pinked). They may have a pinhole here and there (I didn't see any when I looked), but there are no significant issues. The long edges are all finished with the Loro Piana logo selvage and detail that you can see in the photos. Apologies for the less-than stellar photography - I am happy to send other images if you would like. Each one is around 4 yards, which I am told should be enough to make a regular-sized men's suit.

SOLD - Navy Windowpane Tasmanian Super 120s Wool - $150 OBO - This one has a nice, subtle sheen to it and a very understated windowpane pattern.

    156” long x 63” wide (including a 2” edge detail)

SOLD - Grey Pinstripe Serico Super 120s Extrafine Wool & Silk Made by Lanificio - $175 OBO - This one is a bit lighter and has a softer hand than the other two. This is a fine, sharp pinstripe - my photo is a little blurry.

    143” long x 63” wide (including a 2” edge detail)

SOLD - Black Tasmanian Super 120s Wool - $150 OBO - This one has a nice sheet to it.

    142” long x 63” wide (including a 2” edge detail)

I will ship priority mail in the US included in the price. If you are outside the US, I will ship USPS global priority for the actual cost. I accept PayPal. I am in NYC, so you are also welcome to pick up in person.

Feel free to ask any questions.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Hey Jon, may I find out the weight of the first item? Never have Loro Piana stuff before.

Apologies for being a bit thick - when you are referring to the weight, do you just want me to weigh the entire section of cloth, or are you looking for a weight per a given length?

I weighed each of the 3 sections of fabric:

    Navy Windowpane - 2 3/8 lbs (about 1.1 kg)
    Grey Pinstripe - 1 5/8 lbs (.75 kg)
    Black - 2 1/8 lbs (.95 kg)
