What are the measurements on the shoes?
Do they fit large, small, or normal?

The sole measures 12 3/8". I normally wear a 10 D (US), and these were a little narrow in the toe box. I would say they run pretty true to size.

They will not stretch?
The reference to cordovan is the color not the material correct?

I believe the leather is cordovan as well, although I'm not 100% sure.

The fine creasings on the shoe suggest that they are NOT shell cordovan.

As others have remarked, you are incorrect and they are not made of shell cordovan.

For my education, could you kindly explain the basis for your conclusions? Thank you.

I will step in and say that
1. Ferragamo doesn't use shell to the best of my knowledge (perhaps some rare circumstances)
2. The fine creasing on the side and vamp instead of a smooth rippleing indicates calf
3. The stitching is too fine; whereas if it were shell, it would look deep because of the thickness.
4. You will most likely not find a shell model with a raw leather trim/ split toe (not that shell models don't use have split toes).
