pretty good with a scalable wardrobe across suits, shirts, and shoes. Last two missing items are socks and ties. My focus for q1 is going to be ties.

Wondering if there is any overlooked spots for these? Any “quality” brands to avoid?

Patronise both Sam Hober and Cappelli. they make some of the best ties on the market today.

You can do well buying luxury tie brands on ebay too (Isaia, Borrelli, etc.).

I definitely agree w/ Hober, and would add Vanda, Luxire, Conrad Wu, and Drakes. Mostly I just wear knit ties though, and my current favorites are by MCM Studio, an Australian brand, since they tie a thin knot.

Does anyone know what the status is with Conrad Wu? Is the webshop still operational? There is a tie I’d like but I sent two emails with a shipping question and didn’t get a response, and he’s gone from social media, etc.
