Hello all,
I am looking to buy a new suit for a wedding in europe & need some advice.
I am open to made MTM or off the rack.
I would like something modern (not trendy), slim fit, navy blue, thin lapels, full canvass & good material.
I would like to soend anywhere form 1000 - 1500.
I like the Burberry cuts/fit but i believe the suits are fused.
Also love paul smith, but I believe the suits are half canvass.
I know BB makes a good full canvassed suit, but not a big fan of the cut.... a little dated i think.
I know Canali, Zenga makes good suits also, but again i find the look a little dated.
But need some advice for where to go....in Toronto.
Any good MTM places in Toronto that understand the modern/slim fit look?
Anyways all responses are appreciated.
Thanks,

I've done several Smuelsohn MTM pieces through Robert Jones menswear in downtown Toronto. You won't get the extreme trendy super-slim cut, but a trim contemporary look is certainly attainable. They do Pal Zileri MTM as well - and you can definitely get something as slim as you please from that brand - but it would punch a good sized hole in your budget.

It's also potentially worth the drive to the Harry Rosen outlet store in Mississauga just to see what they have on the rack. I picked up a Canali DB there recently for $800. Heckuva deal on a suit that retailed for $1795.

Tom's Place in Kensington market carries Corneliani -also worth a look.
