I bought these Mezlans 5 years ago and can't find another shoe that compares since. They are just so classic looking. The toe isn't too wide or too pointy. It is just right! Looking straight ahead the shoe is even and doesn't slope down towards the outside toes. The stitching is perfect and doesn't clash by continuing over the front of the shoe etc...

I am REALLY particular, but can't help but wonder, why is such a classic shoe not replicated? I appreciate any help finding something like these again.

I'll mention that Kenneth Cole seems to come the closest to what I'm looking for. I have these boots and again they look even from straight ahead without sloping down to the outside of the shoe. I wish there was stitching, but more importantly the toe lays flat and doesn't point up, isn't too wide or narrow etc...(New York Town Ship)

Square toe shoes are immensely popular on this forum. I'm sure your about to get a boat-load of support for choice of foot-wear.

Welcome to Styleforum DLock Holmes. I am saddened to inform you that the fish don't bite here son. However, I do like the way you cradled them on your lap whilst taking the photos. Quite touching.

How about searching the Mezlan style number inside the shoe, you may find another pair.
