Good morning everyone!
I am currently on the search for a new tailor in the Orange County, NY area. While my current tailor is pretty good with my alterations, he seems very picky on what he will/will not work on.
I am not looking to replace him, but rather have a back up tailor for small things like hemmming, shortening sleeves and taking in shirts...
I am also conflicted because I am looking for a tailor who understands the modern gentlemen a bit more, but I understand that many of the older traditional tailors have more experience than the younger ones.
My tailor is very good at what he does, but he is a bit difficult to work with at times.
Any help would be appreciated!
FYI: a tailor who is willing to shorten suit sleeves from the shoulder (working buttons) would save me a trip to NYC
