I love the look of GAP's Morrison jeans, but they're pretty much **** quality. I'm a short, skinny guy -- 30/30 size. Any recommended brands/stores/links would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

KMW 1980.

You couldn't have asked this in the jean question topic?

Try the Levis 514's. I bought these as my first pair of raw demin, and I LOVE the fit. For the price, quality really is pretty damn good.

Morrisons are fairly respectible, the denim not absolute **** (otherwise I wouldn't have been able to keep wearing them for the last year to do work in). They also have decent fading properties as well, which can be seen in the Denim Progress Thread. I'm not saying they're KMW's either, though for $15 they're the best damn beater jeans I've spent my money on. I think you're so quick to put them down mostly because of the GAP name on the tag inside.

I have the 1980's they're pretty nice, though keep in mind the hem will be a tad wider than the Morrison Cut. I'm sure others will have lots more suggestions.

Thanks for the responses. BTW, I <3 the Morrisons...so much so that I've gone through 4 pairs, but they only have a lifespan of 6 months, at least for me, before wearing out and sprouting holes.

How do these fit ... do they tend to run long in the leg or anything?

I'd go with acne mic's in raw, they're by far the nicest jeans I've ever worn and they have a pretty low rise (9.5"). A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, ridiculously nice, classy jeans.

KMW 1980s aren't very slim go for the KMW rockers. Jeanshop slim is pretty good as well as RRL slim.
