What is a good place in the Bay Area to find nice shoes (Ferragamo, Santoni, etc...) at a reasonable price? It seems that everybody on this forum talks about never paying retail, but when I go to Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc... all I see is retail. Anybody care to share where I can go to find simliar things at a lower price?

I'm looking for shoes right now, but any kind of store that sells quality apparel at a decent price is welcome.

Thanks

There are not too many brick-and-mortar discounters who carry good shoes. Jeremy's, The Rack or Last Call are probably your best bets. But, finding something you like in your size can be like a needle in a haystack. Apart from that, just you'll have to wait for sales, shop online or bite the bullet and pay full retail.

Yes...this is a Bay Area drawback. The east and south and Chicago area all have their sells and outlets. The closest we have, are the outlets near Palm Springs and San Diego. High end apparel on sale is not 'round here. Barney's is having a warehouse sell in New York right now. We are left out of their cold.
