I've been looking for one of these for some time. I'd like to keep it under $100. What are some recommendations with good or acceptable quality in your opinion?

LE Canvas and J Crew have decent looking ones right now.

For authentic wool, try Spirit of Shetland

How fitted are the jcrew sweaters generally? From the posts I've seen, the LE sweaters are not that fitted. They are about half the price of jcrew though.

Ay, this is an expensive hobby, my friends.

That is quite nice. I'll keep looking as I'm on a pretty strict budget. I'm ok with cotton or cotton/wool blends.
