I need a few pairs of slim, good quality, 31/30 wool dress pants in staple colors. I live near San Francisco so being able to try it on in a store is a plus. I would normally go with BB for this, but their regent dress pants are on backorder for a long time. I don't have time to wait until Mabitex/Incotex in the size and color I want appears on B&S. I'm willing to pay up to $150. Any suggestions?

What does "easy-to-buy" mean precisely?

Easy? Go for any decent brand label pants that are widely available - that sounds easy to me. Unless you want Borrelli or Cucinelli quality, you should have no trouble picking up any Pants you fancy from the likes of Canali, Ralph Lauren (Polo, Black Label etc...), so on and so forth. They will all fall within price range. Also Barneys have a selection of RL Black Label pants for a shade over $100 at the moment.

I meant that I'm looking for a pair of pants that I can buy online or in store right now. Where can I get RL pants for $100? They're $300 on their website.

Barneys (outlet). Going online to the actual brand website is a license to pay about double compared to when you hunt around for stuff. Are RL Polo pants really $300? Surely not? Maybe the wool ones made in Italy, but cotton ones from China?

If you want pants right now, then just go to the plethora of online stores. As long as you are not looking for a certain brand, you will for sure get what you want. What about Jcrew? Hugo Boss? They dont make the best dress pants (but only a harsh critic would call them crap, they are really not much worse than Brooks Bros), but if I were in a hurry and needed 3 pairs, I would hunt around in those waters if I had to wait a while for Brooks to restock.
