Anyone know where I can find a copy of this book?

'Men in Style: The Golden Age of Fashion from Esquire' is the full title, and I think it was published in 1993. I hear the photos and illustrations are really something.

So far, Amazon, Alibris, eBay and Bookfinder have turned up zilch. Powell's had one copy, but I blinked and missed it. Are there any other online resources I'm forgetting?

I thought that www.abebooks.com would be a good resource, but I did a search for your book and found nothing. Bradford

Aha, I have this book, and would lend (quite possibly sell) it to you. It has really great artwork, which is explained in the forward (the way the artist expertly produced the gleam on shoes, folds and pleats in the cloth of suits, etc.)

Update: Finally received a copy, thanks to the generosity of The Foxx. It's a collection of Esquire illustrations from the thirties and forties - similar to those interspersed throughout Flusser's "Dressing..." - along with color commentary from the magazine. I'm in awe of the diversity of suit fabrics the average Joe had back then - I now have the urge to buy a peak-lapel three-piece suit in gray flannel with red chalkstripes... So, in conclusion, buy Foxx's stuff, it's awesome.
