Hello guys!

I'm looking for a tailor in New York City to make some dress shirts - I love handmade details so the more the merrier.

I usually pick Riva fabrics (but I'm flexible)

I have a few shirts from Al Bazar (in Milan) which I like - however I won't be visiting Milan anytime soon.

The budget is pretty flexible but let's say $150-$600/shirt range

Any good suggestions?

CEGO

Or use a traveling shirtmaker. Luca Avitabile and Budd regularly visit the city. Simone Abbarchi does too, but that's more MTM than bespoke.

FYI Luca is here next week

I have tried CEGO - It's not bad for the price but I would like to get more handmade details.

What is the price point for Luca Avitabile? I checked him out and his stuff looks great!

Yes he's in the pen and pencil building on 25a by the fire station in East Setauket. Went there for jacket alterations this fall and he's still making shirts by hand.

Believe he said mid 100s up to 400, depending on the fabric.

That’s a pretty good price. Ascot Chang house fabric (100s) is $280 I believe and it’s not hand made.

I’m not sure Luca will have all the handwork details he is asking for. But, I am quite happy with luca’s shirts (I don’t care as much about handwork in the shirt).
