Looking for exotics for footwear

Hi, just wondering what websites you go to for exotics. I'm in Hong Kong so getting elephant / hippo shipped over from the US (say, Roje exotics) would be way expensive...

I've only seen good exotics in bespoke footwear, and specifically only with alligator loafers.

Recommend rethinking exotic footwear. Sometimes I see guys get things like elephant, hippo, shark, or some other strange leather. I think a lot of guys get caught up in the idea of a fancy or unique shoe without thinking about how they're worn. In classic men's dress, shoes are supposed to play in the background in an outfit. Exotics draw the eye downward.

The exception, again, is alligator loafers. But even those only look good in very specific contexts.

Elephant and hippo? Setting aside any ethical issues, I’m not sure you can even get that shipped from the U.S.

I don't disagree with the above, but I feel like the word "stingray" still needs to be said in this thread. (But yeah, it's too attention-grabby for most wear).
