Ok, for a watch you need some criteria:

1. Price range
2. Colour
3. Style
4. Do you want a show-off watch or a connoisseurs choice?
5. Are you going to wear it with suits or casual?
6. Are you wearing it every day?

Spectacles? Really? Go to your ophthalmologist and try on every single pair he has in the store (I assume between 200 and 300) if you like them, buy them. There is no such thing as a superior pair of glasses because well, all glasses are basically the same. Just find a shape that fits your face and a weight that you like the feel of and buy them. If they feel cheap, then don't get them. If they make you look ugly, don't buy them. If they have a logo put on in Tipex well then you have a ****** optician.

I must apologise, that reply didn't convey the correct amount of ire that your post generated within me. Allow me to continue:

This is a forum for discussion. Not - I repeat - NOT a ******* personal shopping experience! It is not somewhere to get a make-over, or some consultancy firm that will overhaul your sartorial credibility. By all means ask questions, but please don't expect members spoon feed you the kind of information that could be garnered from simply reading the front page.
