Hi guys, it's winter season and I am in need of a pair of boots. I'd like to spend under 200, and be able to wear them with everything. I also ride a motorcycle so i'd like one that can withstand that.

What are the rules for wearing boots? Color? etc..someone school me

indeed I did see that, considering I don't visit this site as much as some of you guys. If I posted in that thread i'd have to go through 30 pages of post to find mine the next time I come visit the site considering how fast this message board moves. And then go back another couple of pages to see if anyone has answered my question.

Don't want to go through that, what's so hard about just replying to the thread?

I'll reply. The LL bean Katahdin boots are great. Imo, they look good with jeans, khakis, whatever, Plus, they'll keep your feet warm, they're durable as ****, and you wont feel bad about them getting fucked up. I have a pair and they're my favorite boots. Size 1/2 down.

but DOH 700$ price tag

I see that the Katahdins have regular boots and then waterproof, I always thought all boots were kinda waterproofed?

So basically instead of putting in a little effort and reading a thread, you want us to put in effort to answer you? Honestly, go *************.

+1 to the OP for having a good attitude. Sorry I can't help as I 1) am in somewhat the same position, and 2) don't have any idea what you need to cycle.
