Looking for advice on dress shirt fit

Hey guys,

This is my first post here, and I'm just looking for some advice on my dress shirt fit. I'm a college student, so I'd be using the shirts for receptions, dances, interviews, etc.

On Labor Day, I headed over to Jersey Gardens to pick up a couple of shirts from Saks Off 5th Ave. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something that fit well, felt comfortable, and wouldn't break a college student's wallet. I got two shirts for around $45 each. They were both Saks RED line shirts in their "Extra Trim" fit. They seemed okay when I tried them on in store but now I'm having doubts as to whether they're too slim fitting. I'm a pretty skinny guy (~37 chest, 30 waist, 15 neck), so I was looking for something that wouldn't make me look like I was wearing a garbage bag but also didn't make me look like a stick. I've attached a couple pics of me wearing one of the shirts (this one is in light blue; the other is white), and I apologize for the bad quality - I took them in a hurry.

My question is what does SF think? I have the options of keeping the shirts, swapping them for Trim fit shirts (a bit looser around the waist and slightly bigger armholes), or returning them and looking somewhere else for shirts. If you'd suggest the last option, I'd appreciate some suggestions on where to go. I had in mind Brooks Brothers and/or Charles Tyrwhitt. Thanks!
