Last minute gift for my wife.

Something retro/mod/groovy.

Have no idea where or what to look for.

Did a little research and realized that a Vespa is in fact a motorcycle and people riding motorcycles fall down and groovy little retro helmets do nothing to protect their faces when they hit the road.

Pointed this out to my wife and told her that the only way she's going get a Vespa is if she wore a full helmet, which I know she never do for aesthetic reasons. She said, "Okay, I'll just get the '70s Mercedes I've been looking at instead."

So it's a win/lose at my house this holiday season.

Good call. I've read that the most common injury for people who don't wear face helmets is....getting their jaw *ripped* off. Yikes.
