Looking for a pair of brogue boots. Thoughts on these?

Looking at getting these grensons from pediwear. They come out to 125 GBP with shipping:

Good buy? Other/better alternatives in the similar price range?

Also I'm considering getting them in black. But would a black pair look to "combat bootish"??

I actually own a pair (and paid around the same, equivalently). I definitely like them for the climate I face here in Toronto

What about the leather sole, Syl? Doesn't that rather limit their usefulness?

Not really. I walk outdoors a bit to get to the TTC but otherwise it's the PATH. If it's heavy snow or slush, I wear other shoes.
