Looking for 2 types of colognes...

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a cologne for the spring. Something I can wear in the spring/summer. I'm not looking to smell like a sophisticated business man, so nothing too woody or spicy. I'm looking for something sweet, fresh, yet not too strong. Not looking for things that are too strong (for example, YSL L'Homme is better than Armani Code, because, even though both smell similar, Armani Code is a little bit more harsh in comparison). I'm interested in Creed colognes, but other brands will do the job as well.

The other type of cologne I'm looking for is something that'll smell soothing and warm. Like before, nothing too woody, spicy, or sophisticated. Preferably something that has hints of shea butter.

Please give me some recommendations.

Thank you!

For the first one I recommend Perry Ellis 360 red.

For the first one, try Guerlain Vetiver. OR, if you're on a Creed bent...try Silver Mountain Water. Or SCS Bay Rum with a Twist.

Second one: what does Shea butter smell like??? I'd rec Burt's Bees Bay Rum, or perhaps Chanel Pour Monsieur, off the top of my head.

Tried Guerlain Vetiver, didn't like it at all. I just ordered a sample of Creed Himalaya, Green Irish Tweed, Silver Mountain Water, Imperial, Original Santal, and Royal Water. Hopefully one of those will do the trick.

Shea butter smells really smooth. Like... a very mild version of French vanilla. Not really sure if that's an accurate description. And I ordered a bottle of Burt's Bees Bay Rum too, will try that out.

Another thing, would eBay be a good place to buy Creed cologne from? Or are there fake Creed running around on there?

ooh, fake Creed are all over ebay. Well, there's grey market Creed: which is made for places like, say, Saudi Arabia. Then there's outright fakes. Then there are old bottles, and the thing about Creed is - they're reputed to have short shelf-lives.

In other words...I wouldn't go there.
