I'm looking at getting either some RL or Lacoste polos. I'm considering both short sleeve and long sleeve versions. I'm just wondering what everyones thoughts on the two different versions are.

Thanks

Long sleeve polos never made much sense to me.

I love long sleeve polos

my fall closet consists of several long sleeve merino knit polos

I used to be "wtf is up with l/s polos" too but after wearing one I really dig it for fall/winter, but the fit has to be really nice otherwise I think it ruins the aesthetic

and I def prefer merino knit vs. pique. The RafxFP l/s is pique and while I love it, I can foresee the elbows wearing thin premature to the rest of it

The only time I ever like long sleeve polos is when the sleeves are pushed up.

I think...one has long sleeves...and one has short sleeves!

I always feel a bit weird wearing long sleeve polos, so it's short sleeves for me. It feels more like wearing a sweater than wearing a polo.

I like short sleeves for hot summer weather. When I want to wear long sleeves I prefer a button down shirt. But I do have a rugby shirt, it's kind of a long sleeve polo I guess. Each to their own though, I don't see anything wrong with the long sleeve polo.

I never quite understood the long sleeve polo either. It seems like it's just shy of a rugby shirt. To be honest, I don't even recall seeing anyone wear one. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. Maybe even try one on, myself.
